Submission Procedure

Welcome to the submission portal for the European Journal of Education (EJED). We appreciate your interest in publishing with us. Please follow the instructions below to submit your manuscript.

1. Before You Submit

Before proceeding with your submission, ensure that your manuscript meets the following requirements:

  • Format: The manuscript must be prepared as a Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx).
  • Guidelines: The manuscript should adhere to the Author Guidelines available on our website.
  • Originality: The manuscript must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal.
  • Ethical Compliance: Research involving human subjects must have ethical approval, and all authors must consent to the submission.

2. Submission Form

To submit your manuscript, please complete the online submission form available at: https://reg.revistia.com/press/form/

The form will collect the following information:

  • Author Details: Full name, affiliation, email address, ORCID ID (if available), and contact information for the corresponding author.
  • Manuscript Details: Title, abstract, keywords, and manuscript category (e.g., research article, review article, case study).
  • File Upload: Upload your manuscript as a Word document, formatted according to the journal's guidelines.

3. Submission Checklist

Before submitting, please ensure the following:

  • The manuscript is complete and includes all required sections (title, abstract, keywords, introduction, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion, and references).
  • The manuscript is formatted according to the Manuscript Preparation Guidelines.
  • All references follow the APA Referencing System (7th edition).
  • The manuscript does not exceed 6,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
  • Any third-party material (e.g., images, datasets) included in the manuscript has proper permissions for publication.

4. After Submission

  • Confirmation Email: You will receive a confirmation email upon successful submission. If you do not receive this email within 24 hours, please contact the editorial office at [email protected].
  • Peer Review: Your manuscript will undergo a double-blind peer review process.
  • Notification of Decision: You will be notified of the editorial decision once the review process is complete. Possible outcomes include acceptance, acceptance with revisions, or rejection.

5. Article Processing and Publishing Fee (APC)

A fee of £650 is charged for processing and publishing each accepted article. Payment instructions will be provided upon acceptance.

6. Open Access Policy

EJED is published under a CC BY-NC 4.0 license (Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International). This means:

  • The full text of published articles is freely available for noncommercial use.
  • Users may download, distribute, and adapt the work, provided proper attribution is given to the original author(s) and the journal.

7. Publication Frequency

Starting in 2026, EJED publishes 3 issues per year:

  • Issue 1 (April): Publication date – 30 April. Submission deadline – 15 February.
  • Issue 2 (August): Publication date – 30 August. Submission deadline – 15 June.
  • Issue 3 (December): Publication date – 30 December. Submission deadline – 15 October.
