This paper makes an attempt to examine the complex fabric of Joyce’s literary world, examining how dialogues and monologues serve as powerful tools for developing characters, exploring themes, and shaping the overall narrative structure. By closely analyzing notable works such as “Ulysses” and “A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man”, this paper aims to uncover the multilayered nature of Joyce’s use of dialogues and monologues.
